asked questions
How
can I get to Montreal?
Several airlines have daily flights the two Montreal airports, including WestJet,
with whom CIPMM has secured a discount. VIA Rail also offers daily train service
to the downtown core. Travel discounts are also available on train fares.
What should I do when I arrive at the
Workshop?
Check in at the Registration Desk to get your name badge, program and other goodies.
May I register or make purchases on site?
You may register for the Workshop on site at the Registration Desk.
It will not be possible to register for the pre or post Workshop training on
site.
What
is included in my registration?
Standard Workshop registration includes continental breakfast,
lunch, refreshment breaks, one Welcome Reception ticket, one Gala dinner
ticket
and admission to the Trade Show.
May I register for only one day of the
Workshop?
No. The registration fee is only available for the whole two-day Workshop.
I am not bilingual. Will simultaneous translation be available?
All
presentations will have simultaneous translation services. Receivers
for English and French simultaneous interpretation
are available near the Registration Desk. You will be asked to
leave your driver's license or credit card as a deposit that will
be given back to you when your headset is returned.
Can I bring my spouse or partner to the
Gala dinner?
Additional tickets for the Gala dinner are available from the Workshop Secretariat
for $65.00. Please contact us at 613.725.0980 to purchase an additional ticket.
All Gala tickets will be distributed at the Registration Desk when you check
in.
Can my company or department support the
Workshop?
There are many options for supporting the Workshop. Please visit the Expo
